- I realise that, but we have modified the original proposal quite a lot to
- match the German standard. I think Shift+CTRL+S is very logical and
- follows the them of the new standard to use Shift+CTRL as extensions for
- CTRL commands. People will take 10 minutes to get used to the new standard
- which on the whole they will find easier to remember.

- Ah, but you use the opposite logic when saying why we should keep
- Ctrl-A. If they'll take 10 minutes to get used to the new standard, then
- they'll take 10 minutes to learn something other than ctrl-a, and they
- won't be bothered by it since ctrl-a will do absolutely nothing.
